Go on....I know you want to read them!

Just a mere 8 months late....Croatia...

This posting is very late indeed...a mere 8 months after the holiday happened. Sitting on the couch with my hot water bottle and a perforated ear drum this holiday seems like a life time ago. A holiday filled with sun, a storm, music, boat parties, booze, amazing sites and scenery, good company, fresh and tasty seafood and fun times...sigh....

Being the ultimate of lazy you can click here to read more details what we did but below are some of my pictures and a brief summary...

Places that the Staples Moon Burns Dayal whanau visited
included:
Petrčane: for the Soundwave festival. Pretty cool and small festival site with amazing boat parties.Yeah Yeah (good ole Trojan Sound System)...and boy can DJ yoda mix it up!
Sali (Dugo Otok island): a lovely little island town (filled with mega rich sail boats and their wealthy passengers) where Inga and I had the best calamari ever.
Kornati Islands National Park: which consists of hundreds of islands. This day trip included several dips into the clear blue warm ocean and Croatia's famous pebble beaches.
Krka National park: - a hire car later we managed to visit this amazing waterfall with the MASSES of people. This kind of wrecked the whole idea of it being a National Park (compared to NZ) and more like a bit tourist ploy with people in bikinis and speedos.
Split: the old town was very lovely and I even managed to make 'friends' with the lads who lived down the road from our apartment. It seems like I have not lost the knack of attracting the old/weird/freaky (delete where applicable).
Korčula: a quaint little island, besides the masses of people arriving daily from the HUGE cruise ships.
Dubrovnik: we spent the best part of the day walking around the ramparts of the old town and wandering around the alleyways and streets. Very nice indeed.
